Position Summary Main Responsibilities • Handle all the topics related to the Validation and Verification of DANA Off- Highway products, in particular: o Performing experimental activities by using test benches or test vehicles; o Manage the PV&V team optimizing the workload and the related costs; o Improve process and methodologies to match the new market requirements, especially supporting the new generation products development; o Support other function in analyze and solving potential field issues; o Manage, optimize and finalize the prototypes build up and delivery; o Control, manage and improve Safety and Environmental compliance level inside PV&V; o Manage assets maintenance and Calibration. • Support the engineering process optimization and implementation. • Work in cooperation with other functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement, methods, process and product improvements. • Support the V&V parameters setting, working directly with final customer (if necessary). • Support the identification of new solution to support the innovation and continuous improvement and managed the related investments to achieve the project implementation.
Job Position Requirements Education : Master Degree in Mechanical, Automotive and Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
Professional background : 5 - 10 years of professional experience in the Industrial sector working on the development of complex mechanical systems by managing people and budget: previous experience in managing verification & validation, or testing, activities will be highly valuated. knowledge of driveline system is appreciated as the.
Be familiar with the industrial process (stage gate) adopted for the project development, from the feasibility study to production.
Foreign languages : English, upper intermediate (B2) level as minimum for both spoken and written.
Others language will be appreciated.
IT skills : High computer’s skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite and internet.
MS project (well accepted) Knowledge of CAD Tool and PLM ( Teamcenter is considered as plus).
Other Skills : Proactive with high interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
Continuous improvement oriented-actively proposes process improvements; champion and drives change initiatives under his/her responsibility area Able to ensure flexibility in managing the workload to promptly face the priorities changing Good process and teaming skills as this position involves a great deal of interaction with Dana different Departments, Corporation and Customers.
Must be self-starter and able to work towards department goals with minimal supervision.
