Position Summary Main Responsibilities • Lead all relevant quality and cross-functional activities, with particular emphasis on the process gaps might lead to Customer claims & disruptions. • Monitor and drive plant quality activities, Customers and Suppliers (external and internal) quality (DOA – Defect on Arrival), Customer relationships, proactive continuous improvement activities, technical problem-solving leadership and activities (8D reports or similar formats), corrective action activities, plant support activities. • Support Product Service Support team to contain, investigate and apply corrective actions for Customer field issues (DOF – Defect on Field). • Represent the Voice of the Customer by cross-functional coordinating plant departments (industrial and product engineering, manufacturing, purchasing & sales) aiming to ensure the ultimate Customer satisfaction. . • Maintain and improve plant quality management systems consistent with Customer (CSR) and IATF 16949 requirements, inclusive of a robust Management Review and auditing processes (system, process, product and layered process audits). • Prepare, manage and control the department budget aiming to meet and exceed plant goals and objectives. • Track, maintain and report out relevant quality KPI’s ( External PPM report, Quality Issues, Customer Scorecard, Scrap, etc. ). • Participate and support continuous improvement activities and projects (DOS, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Red X, Black Belt, and ITS programs). • Be part of the Advanced Product Quality Planning process in order to ensure safe launch of new projects, including PPAP activities. • Maintain and improve the implementation of the automotive core tools, with particular emphasis on SPC.
Job Position Requirements Education: University bachelor degree - Bachelor Degree in Engineering Professional background • 5 years of experience in a quality manufacturing environment; • Tier1 automotive component supplier manufacturing experience preferred. • Strong knowledge in AIAG core tools: FMEA / PPAP / APQP / MSA / SPC. • Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 & IATF16949. • Knowledge of problem solving tools & methods (8D reports, 5 Why,…). • Proficient in GD&T. • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. • Thorough understanding of process engineering principles. • Computer proficiency in MS Office, ERP (SAP preferred), PLM & Compliant Pro. • High proficiency in understanding math data, interpretation and part measurement. • Effective communication and high proficiency in reporting. • Ability to work overtime and travel as required (~ 10%). • English proficiency required (B2/C1, written and spoken both). .
