Software HMI Programmer

Posizione Bobst, a leading player in the printing industry, is seeking a Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Italy.
You'’ll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance our printing processes and improve overall efficiency.
Key responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, and maintain software applications for various printing systems, including printing presses, HMI and equipment commissioning systems. - Optimize existing software solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to printing and software development.
Competencies and Skills:- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. - Familiarity with PLC, HMI systems and communication protocols (e. g. , OPC UA, Ethernet/IP), as well as of printing processes and technologies is a plus.
Education and Languages: - Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mathematical engineering or a related field. - Effective communication skills and fluent in English.
