You will be responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of the international markets strategy at the Village for the key region and source markets.
You will act as both a brand ambassador and commercial manager to drive high spending domestic and international tourism thereby the footfall, spend and revenue targets throughout the year.
You will be involved in creating plans and activity based on the understanding of our potential customers and guests, by partnering well with the partnership and marketing strategy.
The role is offered on a permanent contract and is hybrid.

Key responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following.
Strategy development and management Identify and target key source markets for the Village to target travel, including FIT leisure, business, group and MICE Define the Village’s travel trade strategy, tourism execution plan and the tourism marketing plan for the region Oversee the implementation of the tourism plan and achievement of footfall objectives Create, develop and manage key relationships with travel trade partners, e. g. airlines, banks, etc. and National Tourism Organisation, destination marketing companies or other organisations that could help achieve the objectives Consider advertising or promotional options to raise the profile of the Village in B2B travel trade media in the key source markets Develop trade hospitality Maximise tourism by building and maintaining crucial relationships through Work with domestic or source Tour Operations and travel trade partners to maximise domestic tourism to the Village Develop strong working relationships with the source markets, operators, organisations and agencies to maintain and increase MICE business Attend relevant conference calls and assure good communications with all representative offices Build close work relationships with the Marketing Team and other key departments within the Village Hold quarterly meetings with regional and national tourist offices Work with the Central team to identify, define and deliver partnerships to increase footfall in all Villages Attend travel trade industry events to market the Village in line with the Company’s market strategies Develop relationships with regional governments and chambers of commerce Develop relations with other influential groups and organisations in the community Manage the Intra- European Sales Drive and provide materials as required by cross promoting all Villages in all activities directly or through the Outbound Sales Manager Collaboration with other Departments Communicate with all departments by providing regular updates and summaries of the key partnership strategy Monitor the travel trade market and trends and provide a regular overview of the tourism trends on local, regional and national level Develop, manage and provide comprehensive monthly reports for the function and distribution Develop ideas and contents for Village specific PR travel trade press releases Provide the local Marketing Team with a selection of tour operator packages for inclusion on consumer promotions, providing an appropriate booking call to action from the travel trade Drive sales of travel related products through the Company’s online booking platform Develop travel trade specific Village sales tools such as fact sheets, VIP invitations and other trade show materials Forster internal communication of international markets activity to all other departments Own, develop and manage the salesforce function for this regional and all associated contacts, clients and activities and ensure that the database is up to date at all times About You We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills: Experience in senior management in the travel industry focusing on China & SEA markets Proven travel industry knowledge and/or luxury brands is essential Experience with targeting inbound Italy Leisure Tour Operations Experience within the MICE industry and products Experience in account management of multi-layered sales and marketing partnerships International experience with extensive knowledge of the Italian market is mandatory Experience in the tourism/hospitality and premium/luxury brand segment Computer literate and high proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent database management system is essential A deep knowledge of the tourism market and how retail/shopping fits with other products Experience in loyalty/frequent flyer/credit card programme within the tourism, hospitality, premium or luxury brand segment Demonstrable track record of delivery of business KP Is via partnership channels Strong relationship management skills A passion for fashion and an understanding of the international fashion industry and brands Excellent organization skills with a methodical approach and an eye for detail Excellent presentation skills and presence with a broad cosmopolitan mind-set Able to work well with all levels across the business Ability to both work as a team and work independently with minimal supervision Fluent in English and local Village language;
