Join our adventure and create striking moments everyday! We are looking to hire a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join our growing RD Software team.
The Senior Agile Delivery Manager will work as part of the software development teams, collaborating with developers, QA and Product Owners, making sure the team performs at its best, addressing and removing obstacles when presented.
The focus of the Senior Agile Delivery Manager will be on the delivery of releasable software, often part of releases to the customers, agreed and coordinated in collaboration with the other teams’ Delivery Managers, Product Owners and PM Os.
Main activities Work closely with the software development team Proactively manage dependencies and remove blockers to get the best value against constraints Manage the development team, making sure the team composition is adequate to deliver the products on time Run estimation sessions with the team Build, maintain and communicate delivery plans Facilitate Agile ceremonies as appropriate, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo and Retrospective and backlog refinement Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practice for the team Ensure team members collaborate, communicate, and focus on what is most important Coach team members on the agile mindset, principles and values Work closely with Product Owner to prioritise work through the backlog Work closely with Product Owner, PMO and other Delivery Managers to coordinate the delivery of key roadmap initiatives Regularly update the PMO on progress and key risks as the delivery of a project moves forward Facilitate meetings to align and coordinate the team Participate in the Delivery community, led by the Chapter Lead, to share knowledge and best practice Required Skills Solid experience as an Agile Delivery Manager Strong coaching and facilitation skills Broad knowledge of Agile Frameworks and techniques Capable of managing work, risks and dependencies Able to maintain, influence and motivate a team Able to navigate and negotiate around obstacles, does not shy away from difficult conversations Hands on, practical approach Can do and positive attitude Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to workload Strong experience of Agile tooling Software development background Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels through facilitation, engagement, mentoring and continuous improvements Excellent spoken and written English Desired Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Dev Ops tools A recognised Scrum Master Certification Thinking about applying, but not sure whether you are a perfect fit?
