We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Specialist to work at our Client’s premises, the European Space Agency site of Frascati (ESRIN), in Italy.

Tasks and activities The scope of work will include: Supporting Business Process Leaders in the definition of business processes and requirements.
Identifying areas of improvements in business processes, proposing possible solutions.
Taking part in Functional Test and User Acceptance Test.
Collaborating with other teams within the IT organization, such as Business Change Management, Security, and Service, among others, to ensure project completion according to the project plan.
Defining possible system solutions in line with business requirements.
Monitoring project activities to ensure they are performed in line with project plans, identifying appropriate action on any deviations and providing adequate feedback to the Portfolio Manager.
Supporting the Portfolio Manager to set objectives, establish work schedules, and manage multiple assignments to achieve team goals within strict deadlines and simultaneous process tracking.
Skills and experience The following skills and experience are mandatory: Master’s Degree or equivalent in IT engineering or in a relevant field.
At least 10 years of proven hands-on experience in leading the design, build, and deployment of SAP Finance solutions.
Deep knowledge of SAP solutions overall and related to Accounting (FI-G/L, FI-AP, FI-AR, CO-OM, PSM-FM).
Significant knowledge of SAP Finance in the Public Sector.
At least one significant experience of a life-cycle implementation of SAP projects in the Public Sector.
Proven experience in participating in complex projects from design to deployment.
Proven experience of processes and systems integration.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving and result-oriented attitude.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess situations and take appropriate action.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team in an international multicultural environment.
Solution-oriented mindset, with customer-focused communication skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable: Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA.
Knowledge of integration between SAP Finance and SRM ( Public Sector Procurement Solution).
Knowledge of development of custom applications (functional side).
Project management certification.
