If you have any questions about this vacancy or the application process, please email us at: usarmy. usag-italy. hqda-cpac. mbx. ln-applicants@army. mil Hauptaufgaben Incumbent performs checkout duties of a wide variety of food and household stock items, approximately 3500; checks for accuracy of prices marked on container against price lists, making necessary correction when required.
Operates a multiple cash register machine using 9 control keys to denote individual amount under appropriate account, issue, subsistence, meat market, supply, etc.
Cashes money and checks and makes necessary change.
Ensures validity of checks for name, endorsement, amount, etc.
Applies safeguarding procedures in the control of money and checks for counterfeits.
Responsible for $100 in cash to be used for change.
At the closing of the business day counts monies receipts by denomination and fills the necessary forms in compliance with standing procedures.
Prepares refund slip on items for which cash has been received, and refers to supervisor for action required.
Makes reconciliation of separate subtotals for each category of items in each class department with totals shown on cash register tapes.
In the event of uneven balances reviews entries on tapes, cash, and/or forms whichever may contain the error and makes necessary corrections in order to obtain the final balance.
Provides assistance to patrons with regard to current prices, availability of items, procedures, and store operations; suggesting substitute items, and/or referring them to supervisor for any major problem.
Bags items, hands out flyers and/or coupons and assists patrons in the correct processing of their orders.
Checks assigned shelves for replenishment requisitions and compiles necessary tally-ins giving nomenclature, quantity required, unit sales price and submits it to supervisor for necessary action.
Receives and checks requisitioned items against supporting tally-outs for correctness of quantity and identity.
Notifies discrepancies to supervisor for necessary action.
Checks prices against price units to insure correctness of price markings and displays items on assigned shelves.
Assists in periodic inventories by counting and recording items on prescribed forms.
Works in produce section performing required trimming, packing, and pricing.
Works in store section replenishing shelves, pricing, taking necessary items from stocks.
Works with frozen food items performing all necessary functions.
Participates in overall commissary maintenance.
Tour of duty will be 20 hours per week, as follows: Sun and Mon OFF, Tue from 15:15 to 19:15, Wed trough Fri from 14:15 to 18:15, Sat from 14:15 to 18:15.
Tour of duty to include nights, weekends, holidays.
Qualifikationsanforderungen MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualification requirements in the " Qualification Standards" published by U.
S Office of Personnel Management, as summarized below.
NOTE: Applicants are required to possess a valid Italian driver's license type "B".
