No Offer Description The research activities in the MIM project include research into virtual and remote learning factories in the field of automation, robotics, and digital twins of cyber-physical production systems.
Particular attention is paid to the topic of simulating and optimizing the energy efficiency of machines and systems.
The aim is to digitalize/virtualize the systems of the learning factory, develop a simulation model with the aim of optimizing energy efficiency, and test and validate it in the laboratory environment.
The research assistant documents the results in the form of scientific papers and project reports, and provides support in writing project proposals.
Further research activities within the framework of other projects on related topics can be agreed by mutual agreement between the candidate and supervisor.
