Role overview: The role will report directly to the “ Supply Chain Planning Manager”, in Novara ( Italy).
The “ Logistics Specialist” will work along with the Supply Chain Planning and Logistics Team, based in Novara, and the Logistics Managers based within the Regional markets.
The main goal of the role is to keep the logistic costs structure under control and improve the efficiency of the logistic processes.
Key Responsibilities: Cross countries budgeting and reporting process support; Contracts KP Is monitoring and T&C negotiations; Promotes saving and efficiencies initiatives together with and projects management; Support local Logistics Managers, at WW level, in costs/performance process reengineering (i. e. handling/packaging cost review/times & methods review etc); Qualitative and quantitative data analysis; Key User for the company’s ERP system across logistics functionalities.
Requirements: Academic background in Engineering or Economics with specialization in Supply chain & Logistics (bachelor or master degree); At least 2/3 years of experience in warehousing processes, matured in fashion industry / consultancy firm / 3PL; Business Process Reengineering, Activity Based Costs analysis background; Knowledge of fundamental economics in warehousing (facilities, consumptions, materials, manpower, handling equipments) Attitude to work on different tech systems, curious to understand processes and data Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills Fluent in Italian and English, both verbal and written Proactivity & Team working Willing to travel Systems and Essentials: ERP knowledge ( Stealth as a plus), Warehouse Management System (WMS) Power BI Office (xls mastership) We welcome people with disabilities and endeavour to make reasonable adjustments, if you do require such adjustments please let us know within 48 hours of your interview.
