Posizione is looking for a highly analytical and driven M&A Intern to join our team, reporting directly to the co-CEO.
In this role, you will be pivotal in identifying the right acquisition targets, evaluating potential opportunities, and supporting our mission to lead in software interoperability for public administrations.
Your insights and analyses will contribute directly to our growth strategy, empowering to drive change and innovate in the public sector.
Key responsibilities- Target Identification: conduct detailed assessments of potential target companies to align with ’s strategic goals.
Build and maintain a robust list of target companies, including critical financial and shareholder information. - Investment Thesis Development: collaborate with the co-CEO and the management team to develop and refine investment theses, supporting the rationale for potential acquisitions. - Market Research: analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to identify high-potential acquisition targets. - Financial & Shareholder Data Analysis: leverage ORBIS/ AIDA to gather, verify, and analyze financial and shareholder data, ensuring comprehensive evaluations of target companies.
Caratteristiche del candidato Requisiti tecnici e conoscenze informatiche Baisc qualifications- Academic background: currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field, with relevant coursework or experience in M&A, accounting or corporate finance. - Technical Skills: proficiency in ORBIS, Aida, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Power Point).
Experience with financial modeling is advantageous. - Language Skills: proficiency in both Italian and English, as you might need to engage with stakeholders in an international context.
