YOUR TEAM You will join the multi-disciplinary team of developers and designers at the i Cub Tech facility (), where electronics, mechanical, and software engineers collaborate altogether, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.
The candidate will work on the electronics design for a new generation of humanoid robots, as part of a multidisciplinary team in which mechanical, electronics and control engineers collaborate in tight synergy to achieve the goal.
For this reason, the ideal candidate will be willing to learn the basics of all these related fields, to ensure the appropriate integration of her/his work with the rest of the team.
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be: To design electronic boards for sensors, motor control and batteries management.
To develop firmware for verification and validation.
To debug and fix issues related to EMC and EMI of complex mechatronic systems ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
Wide electronics design experience across a range of fields including analogue, digital / FPGA, power supplies, PCB design, high speed digital interfaces, EMC / EMI Experience with embedded software development and microcontrollers Experience in co-design approaches for engineeringECAD design tools, e. g.
Mentor Graphics or similar.
Good communication skills and ability to cooperate.
Creative, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
Proficient in English, written and oral.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS Experience with robot middleware systems such as ROS.
Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, and control.
Experience with MCAD software Basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, and robotics foundations.
Experience with embedded software development.
Experience with simulation tools.
