Position Summary


We are looking for a Demand Planner Intern to join our team base in Pomezia ( Roma) . In this role he/she will support the team to define the production plan and generate work orders, as well as issue purchase orders.   He/she will provide support to coordinate and monitor the materials flow (inbound/outbound) to make sure sales orders are properly and timely fulfilled, working closely with Customer Service, Logistics & Warehouse and Procurement to ensure an adequate products supply to the customers.   He/she will provide support to monitor key metrics and run demand/forecast analysis.


Duties



• Analyse monthly statistical forecast and forecast error to make changes/recommendations for inclusion into the demand plan as part of the EMEA S&OP process.


• Generate lots and issue work orders to freeze the production plan


• Share results and analysis with many individuals and groups including sales, marketing, finance and operations.


• Work closely with other STERIS entities to issue internal requisitions according to monthly forecast and ensure on time delivery


• Develop monthly build plans for assigned manufacturing facilities as well as monthly requirements for purchased finished goods


• Support and perform KPI analysis and reports


Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Engineering General

Competencies



• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: in particular Excel.


• Fluent English written and spoken.


• Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical approach.


• Self-motivated and organized, flexible and willing to learn proactively.


• Familiar with Oracle (plus).


• Ability to demonstrate effective communication.
