To strengthen the internal structure, seeks for VCUBE S. r. l. , a SYS-DAT Group company based in Reggio Emilia: EXPERT VMWARE SYSTEMS ENGINEER We are looking for a V Mware Expert Systems Engineer to work both at our operational headquarters in Reggio Emilia and at our client companies manned in Emilia between Parma and Bologna.
The ideal candidate should be proactive and eager for continued growth regardless of their level, able to work synergistically with their colleagues and contribute positively and distinctively to the entire team.
Requirements Several years’ experience in Microsoft or Linux environment, preferably in Enterprise environment; Many years of experience in managing a virtualization infrastructure based on V Mware v Sphere 5. x/6. x; Skills in installing and upgrading the v Sphere/v Center virtualization platform; Creation and configuration of virtual machines hosting Windows or Linux servers; Knowledge in Networking (switches, routers, balancers) and its Protocols (TCP, NFS, CIFS, etc); Knowledge in the area of Security ( Firewall, VPN, etc); Knowledge in Storage ; Knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP and Active Directory; Ability to analyze performance and tune systems.
Knowledge of: Of other V Mware products such as: v Realize Operation, v Sphere Replication, Site Recovery Manager, Orchestrator, v Realize Automation, Log Insight, NSX, Horizon View, Air Watch; In the management and configuration of Blade servers of Cisco, HP, IBM/ Lenovo vendors; In complementary areas such as: Backup, Database, Application.
Personal skills and experience such as: A strong predisposition to work in a team Flexibility and problem solving skills High customer orientation and strong enthusiasm Good stress and time management Good organizational, analytical, decision-making skills Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken (B2-C1 level preferred) Type of offer Economic remuneration defined on the basis of the candidate’s actual abilities and skills.
