Job open for internal and external candidates PRIMARY FUNCTION/ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The resource will be responsible for managing and operating engine, gearbox, and powertrain test facilities with a high level of automation.
Key Responsibilities: Commissioning, technical approval, and homologation testing of test facilities.
Defining interface requirements for systems to be tested, ensuring proper equipment design and integration.
Designing and implementing automated testing cycles for engines, transmissions, and powertrain systems.
Managing and training the operational staff working on test facilities, ensuring high performance and adherence to established protocols.
Ensuring workplace safety and the protection of test facilities, in compliance with industry standards.
Managing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance plans for test facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
Managing fixed and variable costs associated with test facilities, optimizing efficiency and budget control.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Experience in managing component testing facilities.
Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as autonomy in carrying out tasks related to team spirit complete the profile.
