Position Summary In this function you support field trials, develop technical reports, and provide training on our product portfolio.
You are an expert in agronomy, plant nutrition, and agricultural markets, with strong communication and analytical skills.
You will closely co-operate with product management and commercial team on defining yearly objectives. Principal Duties &Responsibilities Technical Support &Training: • Provide technical product details to sales teams and customers. • Deliver training sessions and create educational materials for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. • Develop technical presentations and instructional aids for various audiences.
Field Trials &Research Coordination: • Oversee field trials for existing and new products, including design, evaluation, and analysis. • Collaborate with universities/research centers to conduct trials and report results. • Prepare regular updates on trial progress and results for internal and external stakeholders. • Assist in developing product positioning for various crops.
Sales &Marketing Support: • Act as a product specialist during client/distributor presentations. • Assist Regional Sales Managers in identifying and enhancing commercial relationships. • Build relationships with growers, consultants, and distributors to drive sales. • Collaboration with the sales team on market research and competitor analysis Customer Engagement: • Address technical inquiries via phone, email, or webinars. • Investigate product performance complaints and conduct root cause analyses. • Provide on-field support for key customers representing large turnover.
Product Development &Feedback: • Share field insights with the Global Innovation Team and Product Management. • Developing comprehensive product application plans, tailored by both crop and customer • Support pre-launch activities by participating in late-stage product development tests. Specialized/ Technical Knowledge or Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Crop Science, or related fields required.
Masters degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in agriculture or agronomic roles.
Proficiency in specialty agriculture production practices.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish/ Italian (preferred).
Strong analytical, written, oral, and presentation skills.
Competencies Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Strong work ethic with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to build partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Self-starter with attention to detail and a collaborative attitude.
Travel Requirement Ability to travel more than 30%.
