Together, we can make an impact! Job Scope Guarantee suitable technical service/support and first level assistance for application aspects (installation of methodologies, troubleshooting and initial training) taking action promptly and professionally at customer´s premises.
In corporation with the sales and specialist workforce, promotes the image of the Company in contact with customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide service and support to internal and external customers with regard to instrument maintenance and calibration, and instrument troubleshooting and repair.
Install the methodologies on the instrumentation at customer´s premises and guarantee customer follow-up for technical/application problems.
Make the preliminary visits to laboratories to agree on positioning of the instrumentation and installs and tests the instruments at the customer site according to the time limits and methods defined by Field Supervisor.
Participate in training processes that are designed to develop a highly skilled workforce capable of delivering results consistent with corporate goals and objectives.
Draw up reports of their activity using SGAT software and manage and maintain correct accounting of own spare parts warehouse.
Provide on-call service scheduled by the Supervisor and track any out-of-hours telephone or on-site support to the customer in the after-sales management system.
Ensure that assigned measuring instruments are up-to-date and fully functional.
Report to the CC any complaints, following the entire process until closure.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications Master’s Degree or High School Degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Engineering or equivalent.
Have relevant medical systems experience ideally working knowledge of diagnostic equipment with a minimum of 2/3 years field service experience.
Previous experience in IVD ( In Vitro Diagnostics) and/or highly regulated FDA environments and biotechnology industry experience.
Knowledge and skill in preventative maintenance in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining medical diagnostic or clinical laboratory instrumentation.
Knowledge and understanding of electronics, medical terminology, chemistry, and physics.
Knowledge and understanding of basic immunology and immunoassay technology.
Ability to demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment.
Seasoned experience using Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel.
Very good knowledge of Windows 2000/ Windows XP/ Windows 7.
Excellent communication skills and prompt internal/external customer response rate.
Service-oriented mentality and a strong focus on customer needs.
High problem-solving and decision-making capability.
Effective project management and analytical skills.
Interdisciplinary thought and treatment and quality awareness.
Well-organized, ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
High commitment and self-motivation.
Fluency in English.
