This position reports to Service Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results.
Each day, you will be responsible for Medium Voltage Electrification Service in order to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level).
The work model for the role is: #LI- onsite.
This role is contributing to the 3442 LPG, ELSE in EMEA Region.
You will be mainly accountable for: Leading MV Service production, testing departments and staff in order to reach safety, revenues, on time delivery, OPEX, quality and cost reduction targets.
Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
Ensuring all staff (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly.
Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
Establishing and maintaining channels of communication with employees, while exercising leadership with them.
Evaluating and establishing workforce needs, ensuring resources for supervising the training of new and existing employees, for optimal workforce versatility.
Ensuring the maintenance of good working relations, as well as fairness and standardized practices across departments.
Compliance with the collective agreement.
Qualifications for the role Degree/ Diploma in engineering or related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience working in Operations functions, preferably in leadership roles or experience in people management.
Preferred knowledge of MV Products ( Circuit Breakers and Switchgears) and their production processes.
Knowledge of Lean production and continuous improvement principles.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel (pivot, macro), SAP.
Ability to promote teamwork, engagement, and accountability.
Good resistance to stress and ability to adapt to changes.
Communication skills.
English, spoken and written.
