The Lean specialist is responsible for training employees on new methodologies, procedures, and techniques, as well as overseeing their implementation on site.
He/ She may also be tasked with developing plans for long-term improvements to production methods or equipment.
He/ She promotes the culture of continuous improvement through the knowledge sharing of tools and methodologies and through engagement initiatives of all plan functions (including mainly operators and shift leaders).

Responsibilities Providing coaching and training for new employees about Lean Manufacturing Principles Understand and apply the basic concepts of Lean thinking/ Operational excellence to the Kemin Processes Support the Site Manager to coordinate Performances improvement projects, supported by controlling, to ensure Cost Reduction and Productivity Increase goals.
Work with managers, supervisors and operators to identify and prioritize Opportunities for Improvement Lead process improvement activities, implement process changes and participate in Projects using Lean Tools and Methods Train and coach employees at all levels in Lean Concepts and Tools Support the development of Standard Work Procedures (best practices) Lead and develop the Root Cause Analysis culture, Workshop, Kaizen events, Cost reduction projects, WPO, value stream mapping, training the whole team to the application.
Collect and analyze data to support data analysis, reporting and decision-making processes.
Implement and ensure a Management System (cascade meetings, KPI, OPI and KAI) to monitor campus performances.
Apply the background knowledge on production organization to facilitate Change Management Processes.
Focused on leading by example, being strongly focused in the field and working with production organization knowledge background Adopt and promote behaviors in line with Kemin values.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field Required production managerial experience from 3 to 5 years in structured production contexts (production manager, line manager, etc. ) Good knowledge about production organization Experience in project management (leading of projects in the shopfloor, with production teams) Experience in Continuous Improvement, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively Goal oriented and attitude for the leadership model “leading by example” 5+ years’ experience in process improvement, quality management, or similar role Oriented towards the culture of Change and teamwork Proven track record of leading and implementing successful process improvement initiatives Lean (or Lean Six Sigma) certification Excellent Communication skills Analytical skills and data-driven thinking Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Stress resistant and positively minded; High level of integrity and compliance with corporate culture; Knowledge of Italian and English language (fluent) #J-18808- Ljbffr
