This position reports to Quality Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will manage operational quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of internal and external (suppliers and service providers) qualification and development processes.
You will lead the execution of supplier assessments, driving both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels.
You will acquire and report quality metrics and KP Is accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of operational processes.
The work model for the role is: #LI- Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation – Measurement Analytics Division.
You will be mainly accountable for: Managing operational supplier quality, including validating the supplier's quality systems and processes.
Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.
Ensuring the execution of the supplier qualification process and that the relevant suppliers are fully qualified and remain compliant with the required standards.
Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
Supporting local Operations and Service teams in implementing mitigation actions regarding supplier non-performance.
Promoting early supplier involvement in product development activities to maximize capture of supplier innovation and drive improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and risk management.
Acting as a local process owner for defined quality-related processes, systems, or tools, including defining and documenting plans, implementing and communicating actions, supervising and controlling progress, and driving continuous process improvement.
Performing and/or coordinating activities related to designated areas within Quality systems, manufacturing quality, quality planning, product safety and compliance, design and development quality, and audits and reporting.
Supporting resolution of internal and external complaints by following a robust root cause analysis and implementing preventive and corrective actions.
Supporting and maintaining the quality management system, in collaboration with factory functions, including processes and tools to ensure flawless and repeatable process execution, identifying gaps, and exploring opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications for the role Ability to demonstrate your experience in quality systems/process experience and ability to work individually or within a team.
You are highly skilled as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing facility.
You like to manage Supplier relationships.
You are passionate about working in a team with great communication skills and diplomacy to deal with our customers and suppliers.
Degree in Engineering or Technology with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
You are at ease communicating in English and Italian.
