The job is based in Milan, Lainate ( Aira HUB Lombardia).
The role: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Logistic Manager to manage and oversee the supply chain and logistics operations.
The successful candidate will ensure the efficient procurement of materials, timely delivery, cost management, and inventory control.
A key requirement is in-depth knowledge of materials specific to the heating industry, ensuring that supplies meet project and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, especially those specific to heating systems.
Identify and manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards related to heating materials.
Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including shipping, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficient product flow.
Coordinate closely with the engineering, planning, and installation teams to ensure materials are available as per project timelines.
Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages, ensuring the availability of critical components.
Monitor procurement budgets and optimize costs while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the procurement and logistics processes.
Ensure timely resolution of supply chain issues and proactively manage risk factors.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with company goals and project deliverables.
Requirements: Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, supply chain, and logistics management, preferably in the heating or related sectors.
In-depth knowledge of materials used in heating systems, including but not limited to boilers, heat exchangers, piping, and insulation materials.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage budgets and optimize costs.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
