Packaging Npd (New Product Development) Buyer

Funzione: Procurement Sede: Offanengo, Italy Contratto: Full Time The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and to negotiating the best purchasing conditions (cost, quality, timing) of primary packaging, secondary packaging, based on procurement strategy, following methods, tools and policy.
He/she will be responsible for the best packaging proposal in reference to a customer ́s brief, and place the Purchase Order to the packaging supplier; to follow the project from the first quotation to the first launch on the market, in compliance to logistic and quality performances.
Reporting to Packaging Senior Buyer, the job holder will be accountable for the following: To source specific packaging related to a customer’s project, based on Sales request, in compliance with cost / quality / timing of the project.
To negotiate the cost of the packaging with suppliers, and once the project is won, to place the Purchase Order of the launch on the market.
To be in contact with Marketing Team in order to check/update existing “ready to go” packaging, but also to improve the packaging proposal in terms of innovation.
To be involved in the Supplier Evaluation process regarding technical/commercial relations.
To support Quality Department in managing nonconformities Skills required High School Diploma as a minimum; Preferably University DegreeA minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the make-up/cosmetic field or similar industry (e.
