About the role: Reporting into the Director of IT you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at the property.
What will you do: Ensure effective support, ensure critical systems are available, establish and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systems Provide systems administration including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation Server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, operating system upgrades and troubleshooting Participate in technology implementations, contributing to technology capital and operating budgets Provide direct guest support along with support to function rooms and conference services What you bring: A technical background, MSCE or strong networking skills, education and/or experience supporting complex networks Ability to assist the Director of IT with the day to day coordination of the IT department An understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls, and ideally have familiarity with hotel quality and service standards with a strong commitment to service Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams Proactive and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, and strategic thinking skills Fluency in English and Italian What we offer: Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package Excellent Training and Development opportunities Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Meals available at our Employee Restaurant Employee Experience initiatives: from annual themed employee party to many ESG events throughout the year Employee Recognition Programs Opportunities to build a successful career with global potential Schedule & Hours: This is a full-time position This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal.
