" - Michael Kors - Who You Are: The District Visual Merchandisers operate as Brand Protectors, reinforcing brand standards and vision across the estate, balancing creative vision with commerciality; ensuring the highest customer experience is delivered across all channels, both internally and externally.
The DVM Team operate as a support function for Retail primarily focused on driving visual consistency across all customer touchpoints and channels within a Territory with multiple stores/countries.
What You’ll Do: Teamwork & Communication: Monitor monthly VM execution in stores, providing guidance and training and discussing the best commercial strategies with retail business partners, collecting feedbacks and photos.
On monthly bases deliver all administrative tasks relevant for DVM structure, such as monthly photo decks, store visits reports, whereabouts, weekly feedback.
Submit weekly recap reports and feedback to Regional Visual Manager.
Submit monthly creative Comp Shop ideas to Regional Visual Manager.
Participate in weekly team conference calls held by Senior Visual Management.
Lead assigned wider projects & activities, partnering with VM team members, internal departments (such as marketing) and external partners (department stores, suppliers) Partnering with the store management, host and lead monthly store walkthrough.
Participate & support on annual VM summit, held by Senior EU VM Team.
Training & Development: Field training: Organise and host VM training for base store and the district on regular basis.
Plan and deliver structured, training-focused store visits.
Support monthly floorset installation across the district by establishing a regular planning, feedback and follow up process.
Regularly provide training refresh during weekly District Managers Conference Call.
Commercial Focus: In cooperation with base store Manager, plan and implement monthly floorsets.
Analyse base store performance on a weekly basis, tailoring and adjusting product placement to business needs.
Support all Store Managers within the district with commercial product placement by using relevant reports and business tools.
In cooperation with District Managers: plan, implement and oversee local VM strategies tailored to specific markets.
Conduct regular joint visits with the District Managers in order to identify key VM / Product opportunities in store.
Support quarterly District Managers’ business strategy by creating appropriate Visual Strategy and overseeing its implementation.
Attend weekly District Managers Conference Calls to brief on key weekly VM focus areas and objectives.
Creative Innovation: Responsible for tailoring Brand VM directives to relevant markets.
Focus on local approach.
Support wider retail business through market specific projects, such as seasonal concept doors and pop-ups, product trials, showroom set ups.
Deliver innovation projects focused on new display techniques to be used at EU and Global level.
Incorporate monthly creative ideas into model store launches.
What You’ll Need: At least 3 years of experience working on a similar role, or managing VM in a flagship store.
Experience working for a trend-led, premium, fashion-focused businesses.
Great planning and organization skills.
Ability to deliver VM training to store teams in the territory, both physically and virtually.
Experience with analysing KPI’s and derive action plans from them.
Fluency English is mandatory, other languages beneficial.
Ability to travel (approx. 40% of time in the home city, 60% travel) Awareness of industry trends and market specific customer profiles.
Ability to demonstrate creative, commercial and people focused skills / competencies.
Be a passionate and highly creative individual and able to consistently deliver visual excellence in our stores Be willing to continually grow, develop and learn new skills.
Interest in a career path within the retail industry.
Have sound IT ( Microsoft) knowledge.
Photoshop, Power Point, Word, etc.
