As Customer Software Support Engineer, you will be the vital link between our customers and our technical experts, providing exceptional remote support via phone and remote desktop connections.
You'll also have the opportunity to engage in on-site assignments up to 25-30% of the time, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Coordinating incoming service tasks.
Troubleshooting Java, JEE and C# code, identifying bugs and preparing software patches.
Pro-active maintenance of the current installations.
Development of change requests.
Performing software upgrades.
Helping the customers with server and database upgrades.
Analysing problems and Investigating performance issues.
Delivering detailed reports of each intervention.
Adding to our knowledge base.
Being part of the 24/7 support team (" On Call" support).
Interacting with the other service teams in Dematic.
What We Are Looking For? We're seeking a team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
You're dedicated to solving problems thoroughly, putting the customer first.
You're also open to occasional out-of-hours work and on-site visits, ensuring we meet our clients' needs seamlessly.
Required Experience and Qualifications: Educated in ICT, Electro-mechanics, Automation or related disciplines.
Experience in software development using the following technologies: Java, JEE, C#, .
Net, Win Forms, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Git.
Basic IT administration knowledge such as user management, remote desktop connection, event viewer, etc.
Hands-on experience in software lifecycle management.
Experience in Testing, Deployment, Server and Database installation.
Experience in acting as 2nd or 3rd line support.
Knowledge of warehouse automation and intra-logistics is a beneficial.
Hold a valid driving license.
Full working proficiency in both Italian and English languages. # In-post
