Position Summary We're looking for a Controller in Crescentino (VC) Location this role will contribute to strategic planning and decision-making, for each of the assigned plant, to develop, coordinate and implement control systems and processes that align with the overall vision of the company and its current and long-term objectives.
Prepare financial reports to share with management to support the achievement of objectives.
Ability to work as a team on common goals.
Be the reference person of the plant both for finance leadership and the plant manager, approaching activities as business co-pilot and guiding the local finance team.
Main Responsibilities- Sales analysis - Coordination and analysis of conversion cost activities of the plants - Support to the Functions (meetings) - Cost center analysis - Labour data ( Headcount and Cost of Labour) analysis (meetings with HR) - Opex (forecast and follow up): Headcount and labor cost, Operation expenses, SG&A, conversion cost analysis, cost center analysis and Finanacial Targets analysis - Free cash flow - Capital spend - Financial targets analysis (GM%, CM%, EBITDA, EBIT, Conversion Cost, WC, Capex) - Frequent meetings at the plant level to support plant managers to achieve budget - Variances explanation vs Forecast and checks - Activities to improve forecasting accuracy mainly for following financial KP Is: Conversion cost, Free cash flow and capex - Preparation of the budget, forecast and weekly, monthly and quarter financial closure - Inventory (standard, FIFO, actual) and Flows analytical accounting ( Cost of production and Sales), including reserves calculations - Monitor inventory level and propose optimization actions (develop KP Is) - Preparation of the yearly stock take with Logistic and Operations Job Position Requirements Professional background 4 / 6 years minimum experience in the role in similar industrial environment Hard skills Essential: - Foreign languages: fluent English. - Strong computer skills.
High computer’s skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite. • Essential: Excel, SAP (as a plus), inventory management and accounting, experience in a Controlling dpt of a Manufacturing facility • USGAAP, HFM, SOX/internal controls Considered as a plus: SAP knowledge (FI/CO) represents preferential skills for this role Soft Skills • Rigor • engagement • proactivity • practical good sense • flexible and stress resistant • good communication skills • team spirit Strong process and teaming skills as this position involves a great deal of interaction with Dana different Departments. “ If you are not contacted within 60 days after your application, the search should be considered filled.
