Accounts Payable Assistant (Contract)

Owing to maternity leave, we are actively recruiting for a (junior) Accounts Payable Clerk to join our busy EMEA Finance team, undertaking a mix of responsibilities across both general Treasury and Accounts Payable.
Within this crucial role for us, you will use Sage and Zucchetti to manage the recording of day to day financial transactions, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
Working in this friendly team of 5, you will find a highly collaborative environment where you will be guaranteed to be kept busy but have fun along the way too! The role is for c. 12months and facilitates hybrid working of two days in the office, and three days at home.
It is perfectly suited to someone who is still early on in their career, and looking to gain new experiences.
Your Day to Day will include· Daily management of bank transactions and accounting· Bank and cash reconciliations· Daily maintenance of the accounting of cash & banks transactions· Execution of daily payments and Import supplier payments· Preliminary verification and disposal/import of customer refunds· Collaboration for the monthly closing activities and collection of data, tables, accounting details for financial statements preparation· Ensure that all documents related to the payments are accurately supported and approved· Record and control expense reports (via Concur)· Accounting of Commission Payments to our Partners (managing social security payments, personal income tax, VAT, CU Declarations, and monthly F24 compilation) Requirements· 2-3 years experience in a similar Finance Specialist role· Tecnico Amministrazione Finanza e Marketing (AFM) qualification· Experienced in both SAGE & ZUCCHETTI· Excellent knowledge of Excel· Autonomy and precision· Italian Mothertongue with business level English· An inquisitive, pro-active and self-managed approach to your work Working with, and learning from, some of the best colleagues you could wish for, in an environment where no question is a silly question.
