The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in deriving analyzing and managing system requirements in complex embedded systems engineering environments.
The role involves close collaboration with a global team and stakeholders to ensure that system requirements are accurate verifiable and fully traceable.
Key Responsibilities: Derive System Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Translate stakeholder requirements into comprehensive and clear system requirements.
Ensure that all derived system requirements align with the projects goals and constraints.
Analyze System Requirements: Categorize and prioritize system requirements to ensure they are complete consistent and traceable.
Perform detailed analysis to ensure that requirements are correct feasible and verifiable.
Develop strategies for verifying and validating system requirements.
Impact Analysis: Evaluate the impact of system requirements on the overall operating environment.
Assess how changes in requirements may affect system performance functionality and interoperability.
Identify potential risks associated with system requirements and propose mitigation strategies.
Establish Consistency and Traceability: Ensure consistency between stakeholder requirements and derived system requirements.
Establish and maintain bidirectional traceability between stakeholder requirements and system requirements.
Use traceability tools to track requirements through the development lifecycle and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.
Perform Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of system requirements to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Lead and participate in formal review meetings to discuss and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements during the review process.
Task and Defect Management: Use PTC Integrity/DNG tools to manage relevant tasks and defects.
Update and close tasks/defects in the PTC/DNG system as requirements are verified and validated.
Ensure that all requirement changes are documented and tracked through the appropriate tools.
Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in systems engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field. 6 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on system requirements analysis.
Proficiency in requirements management tools such as PTC Integrity IBM DOORS Next Generation (DNG) or similar.
Strong understanding of system engineering principles and methodologies including requirements derivation impact analysis and traceability.
Strong understanding of the software V Model.
Strong understanding of ASPICE Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems and identify potential issues.
Exceptional communication collaboration and proactive leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in conducting formal reviews and leading technical discussions.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in systems engineering.
Familiarity with C and/or C.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the automotive industry.
Experience with modelbased systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques.
Experience with automotive HVAC controllers Proficiency in requirements management tools such as PTC Integrity IBM DOORS Next Generation (DNG) or similar.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in system requirements and architecture design.
Experience with modelbased systems engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques.
