Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:



• Potential supplier scouting and assessment.


• Supplier development in prototyping phase in conjunction with engineering and purchasing teams.


• Ensure full alignment of supplier product and process with Customer Specific Requirements.


• Perform regular supplier auditing to ensure compliance with agreed product and process specifications.


• Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality performance.


• Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.


• Manage supplier complaints including non-conformity management and problem-solving support.


Qualifications:



• Min 3-5 years automotive (OEM or Tier1 supplier of assembled complex components or similar)


• Preference for technical background or equivalent working experience in metal forming, metallic components, plastic components manufacturing


• Strong preference for certified process auditor according to VDA 6. 3 or equivalent


• Required English language competence (B2 or above)


• Preference for German language competence


• Frequent business trips (up to 50%), especially in initial phase.
