Position Summary Main Responsibilities: Evaluate and manage the PPAP ( Product Part Approval Process) for new programs, engineering changes and process improvements received by suppliers.
Monitor supplier Quality through Dana1 Source for compliance and current requirements as needed for the business unit, identifying and escalating high impact issues.
Travel to suppliers as necessary for quality discussion.
Generate and distribute visitation reports.
Monitor and track prevention and resolution of Supplier issues.
Ability to work in a team environment and foster continuous improvement in all aspects of the plant operations.
Prepare periodic reports and other data to expose to managers and/or plant personnel.
Review and approve Supplier PPAP submissions.
Maintain and monitor Supplier non-conformities.
Trace and review status of engineering deviations and change reports.
Support APQP process.
Main opportunities and challenges: In the role, you have the chance to be the reference person for the Arco plant in Supplier Quality, to meet the Supplier Quality reference and understand the details of the processes of the entire supply chain.
Job position requirements Education: University bachelor degree in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Professional background: 1 - 3 years experience in a similar position is a plus.
English medium level is mandatory.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial processes.
Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
Strong knowledge of technical drawing comprehension.
Strong computer skills.
High computer skills in MS Office & internet.
Considered as a plus: Knowledge of ISO9001 and/or IATF16949.
Good teamwork skills.
Accuracy in all activities is mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana and external suppliers.
Must be a self-starter and able to work collaboratively with other departments.
