Superintendent - Commercial Construction Self Storage

Job Description Tampa based GC seeks seasoned lead Superintendent needed for new 5 story structural steel 100,000SF self-storage facility in Naples Florida.
Minimum of 3 years experience required in building Self Storage a must.
Compensation: Compensation package to correlate with experience.
Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of commercial building methods and codes.
Ability to read drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and independent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for dealing with subcontractors, architects and project managers.
Tactful and mature demeanor with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
Utilization of a computer is essential to performing the duties of this position.
Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office is required.
OSHA certification.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities: Review, study, and interpret the plans, specifications, and contracts as they relate to each individual trade involved in the construction of the project.
Establish site objectives and schedules, acts as site representative and liaison with subcontractors, vendors, and monitors construction site activities throughout all phases of the project, per the Company policies.
Responsible for site management activities including project schedule, RFI production, safety and daily written reporting, site general conditions cost, quality control, project final delivery and punch-out, per the Company policies.
Responsible for the maintenance of organized job site, including office trailer.
Manage subordinate staff, oversee the quality of construction, and ensure safety on the job site.
Oversee and manage subcontractors for timely project completion, including scheduling and coordination of trades.
Directly inspect each trade's work.
