Role The successful candidate will be part of the dynamic Securities Lending/ Collateral Management &, Trading Support Middle Office team within Operations Department.
Reporting directly to the Head of SLB/CLTM Trading Support MO' she/he will be involved in all aspects of Lending and Collateral Management support' as well as all Middle Office activities.
This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to build strong knowledges in relation with sectors of the bank in constant evolution.
Main Responsibilities - Settlement: monitor all operations related to lending' borrowing' repo and collateral, track all pending and keep traders informed' handle buy-in notices and interest claims, - SLB Commissions: reconcile commissions received by counterparties with data provided by the system, calculate and book SLB commissions in case of account closure, calculate and book periodical SBL commission for clients and internal accounts, - CSA Interests: monthly check and booking of interests to be paid/received by CSA counterparties, - Triparty Repo and SLB Collateral: send instruction for Triparty Collateral exchange - Corporate Actions: inform traders about the need to ", recall", positions due to particular CA events on SLB positions, coordinate CA claim activity with CA Department and chase counterparties in order to pay/receive amounts linked to positions lent/borrowed, - Allocation differences &, lending availability: check SLB contracts that are over/under allocated and adjust clients' participations, advise traders about the need to ", recall", positions in case of lack availability, - SLB reconciliations: check/adjust cash/securities differences linked to SLB activity' verify statements with open positions (SLB &, CLTM) received by counterparties, monitor/adjust long/short positions, - SLB problem solving: support CR Os' traders and other departments for issues linked to SLB activity, - MO reconciliations: reconcile all pending/executed orders between the different Order Management Systems and the core banking system ( Globus)' verify the consistency of the balances of ", Nostro", accounts between Prime and the core banking system, - Phone orders: track all phone orders input by CR Os in violation of the 30 minutes policy, advise CR Os in case of missing inputs in the core banking system linked to phone orders already executed, - Trading room support: elaborate and send on a daily basis to the Trading Room the list of orders executed in violation of the one hour policy and the list of orders not executed for more than one day, support the Trading Room for SPV-linked activities (e. g. invoices payments' reconciliations' etc. ), - Direct access client: approval process supervision with support to CR Os, control of the respect of DAC limits, - Forex controls: analyze on a daily basis all banking counterparties limits breaches' marketing profits and P&, L from FX operations, ensure that overnight FX exposure and Daily Stop/ Loss limits are not breaches and that all override messages related to foreign exchange rate executions are in conformity with the market foreign exchange rate, control FX deviations and unlock currency rates in case of daily deviations above 2% (/5% for exotic currencies), - MO statistics: produce on a daily basis statistics related to direct orders' directed orders' direct access client orders and orders above 10M, - OPS incidents record: collect incident reports from OPS departments and book the actual/potential gain/loss using GRC Archer Incident Record Tool, - Project Management: upon demonstrating adequate skills and know-how related to SLB/CLTM/ Mo activities' handle new projects in an autonomous way' with the supervision of the Head of Department.
Skills and experience - Knowledge of main products and financial instruments, - Knowledge and experience in Securities Settlement and Processing, - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, - Proactive attitude' open mind and willingness to take on new knowledge and skills, - Fast learner and ability to work under pressure/adapt to unforeseen work demands, - Good communication skills to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders at all levels, - Fluent in Italian and English' French/ German a plus, - Team player, - Highly motivated, - Knowledge of Globus ( Ops functionalities) is a plus.
