This is the only site in Europe dedicated to the assembly and final testing of advanced aircraft, playing a pivotal role in supporting high-performance jets for both national and international forces.
In this role, as Transition Manager , you will oversee, for at least the first 3 months, the seamless handover and technical transition of fire-fighting service operations from the current provider to the new operator, starting from the award of the tender (ideally from the 1st of October).
The work location will be Novara/ Cameri , and during the Transition period, you will be required to travel back and forth between these sites.
Once the transition is complete, you will assume the role of Service Manager , overseeing and implementing operations and activities related to contract execution.
Ideally, you will be required to be in Novara/ Cameri every other week for at least the first year of service.
YOUR TASKS As Transition and Service Manager , you will be responsible for: Overseeing technical aspects to ensure a smooth transition to the new operator Document and address any incidents involving service provider personnel Oversee operational documentation for vehicles and fire-fighting equipment Assess the condition of the client’s materials Track mandatory health checks, certifications, and any additional requirements for personnel Review past service evaluations to identify improvements Set up a unified KPI dashboard with Leonardo for all four sites Handle any other activities necessary for a smooth transition.
