Service Technician

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging , is Looking for a Service Technician for the Headquarters in Seriate, Bergamo!

What will you do?

Carry out the electromechanical installation and setup of machines and auxiliary equipment (leak tester, box filler, tray packer, stacker, cameras, etc. ) Provide technical support on testing and commissioning new machines Test production lines, in particular EBM machines, pick and place, tray packers, control and vision systems, etc.

Provide support to plants in start-up phase of new plants in identifying and solving technical problems to ensure a timely start of industrial production Make changes necessary for the line’ s efficient operation Collaborate with the technical office in order to suggest improvements Travel for about 50% of the time.

What are we looking for?

Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM) Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules and practices Good knowledge of English Minimum three years' experience in a similar role in a company producing machines What do we offer?
