As a Senior Buyer specializing in subcontracting services for capital projects, you will contribute to the successful procurement of services for our Clients’ Oil & Gas EPC projects.
In particular, you will: Lead the identification, selection, and qualification of subcontractors and oversee the entire sourcing process, from defining subcontracting service specifications, conducting market research, and identifying potential subcontractors Develop sourcing strategies and issue requests for proposals (RF Ps), requests for quotations (RF Qs), and requests for information (RF Is) to potential subcontractors, ensuring clear and comprehensive tender documentation to encourage fair competition Negotiate contracts with selected subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and delivery conditions while adhering to procurement policies and procedures Collaborate closely with the expediting and shipping teams to facilitate the transportation, customs clearance, and shipping activities associated with procured services.
Coordinate with offshore procurement teams for tender execution, contract finalization, order management, and expediting of services Monitor and report on procurement status, providing regular updates on progress, budget utilization, and potential risks to the Project Procurement Manager and project teams Le tue caratteristiche If you share our passion for consulting and have the following characteristics, we are waiting for you: Experience (at least 5 years) in procurement within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in an EPC contractor environment Proficiency in conducting subcontractor evaluations, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders Strong knowledge of procurement principles, methodologies, and best practices.
