Senior Accountant

We are a Cloud & Cybersecurity Provider, our focus is to provide medium-sized and large companies with Cloud services at the highest level of reliability and performance, integrated with Cybersecurity solutions that protect their data and applications.
We are looking for a curious and proactive colleague to join our Accounting, Finance, and Controlling team as a Senior Accountant .
The selected candidate will be responsible for: Accounting Management: Recording and reconciliation of all accounting transactions, including revenues, expenses, and periodic closings.
Oversight of accounting ledgers, including general ledger and subledgers.
Closing Activities: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Assistance in drafting statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian GAAP (ITA GAAP) and IFRS.
Reconciliations: Reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Monitoring of outstanding items and reconciliation with bank statements.
Tax Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Support in preparing tax filings (VAT, IRAP, IRES).
Managing relationships with external parties such as auditors, accountants, and tax advisors.
Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process automation or optimization in accounting activities.
Collaborating with the IT team to enhance ERP systems and processes.
The ideal candidate has an educational background in economics with a college degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in Accounting.
Remuneration will be commensurate with skill level and will be supplemented with a company welfare plan with supplementary health insurance , smart working and continuous training.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements: Hard Skills: At least 5 years of experience in general accounting or similar roles.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e. g. , Microsoft, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Office tools, particularly Excel.
Deep knowledge of Italian tax regulations and accounting principles (ITA GAAP and IFRS).
Soft Skills: High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication abilities to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactivity and a problem-solving mindset.
Language knowledge: Good command of Italian and English, both written and spoken is mandatory.
Good command of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
