Scala Engineer

Job Description Location: Fully remote, EU timezone (CET +/- 2 hours) Start Date: ASAP Languages: English required As a Scala engineer with our client, you will play a key role in designing and developing robust back-end systems.
You will ensure that the platform maintains exceptional performance and reliability for all users.
Responsibilities: Design and develop back-end services in Scala within a microservices architecture, using technologies such as Apache Pulsar and Postgres.
Manage data efficiently and ensure seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
Collaborate with front-end engineers to create efficient AP Is and optimize back-end/front-end interactions.
Adhere to best practices in back-end development, including code quality, security, testing, and performance optimization.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Work closely with product and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Stay informed about the latest back-end technologies and trends to keep the platform cutting-edge.
Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of experience in back-end development.
Strong experience in Scala 3, with a keen interest in learning new technologies.
Good understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and server-side technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively remotely.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.
