Promoting and communicating effectively the hotel’s identity and unique selling points establishing and maintaining optimal relationships with all relevant clients in the defined sales segment, working to meet the departmental sales targets.
To solicit and developing new business from identified market segments and sources of business.
To identify new sources of business based on economic trends and opportunities.
To retain business by adhering to established retention strategies.
To represent the hotel in selected trade shows and sales missions with the goal of maintaining relationships with key accounts, scout new ones and contribute to overall hotel revenue opportunities.
To input client data on a timely basis and accurately in all relevant hotel systems and tools.
To review together with the Director of Sales & Marketing production of selected segments and accounts identifying opportunities and business opportunities.
To liaise closely with the Groups & Event Sales Manager to drive business to the segment.
To assist in monitoring activities of competitor hotels.
To provide the Director of Sales & Marketing with feedback from market to tailor hotel strategies.
To assist in the development of strategies geared towards increasing sales and productivity throughout the hotel.
To ensure that all departmental reports and related correspondence are completed in liaison with the Director of Sales & Marketing on a timely matter.
To assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the implementation of the annual Sales Business Plan identifying strategies to reach selected goals.
To ensure that incoming sales enquiries are appropriately handled.
To carry out the sales solicitation strategy selected markets.
To work closely with hotel’s reservations department to ensure that all booking enquiries are correctly handled and implemented.
What we are looking for: Previous experience in same or similar role.
Specialization in EU and LATAM markets.
Experience in Luxury Hospitality.
Fluency in Italian and English.
Any other language will be considered a plus.
Excellent organisational skills.
Positive and proactive attitude.
