Keep an end to end ownership of hardware development for rapid prototyping, Hands-on layout and/or supervision of PCB designer for circuit designs FPGA coding using VHDL/ Verilog HDL and/or proprietary System Design tools from LATTICE / INTEL / XILINX.
Coding low level digital board FW for the uC and other device involved, then Debug the code.
Interfacing camera modules, 2D Image Sensors and/or 3D TOF sensors Test, debug and verify the behavior of the designed subsystem in real conditions, against temperature, humidity, environmental stresses, etc. ; verify EMC, following the specification and according to the Validation test plan previously stated.
Consolidate collected data, verify the compliance with the specification and report the achieved results during the technical review.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and coordinate external Engineering Design resources when Consultants are involved in a project, setting up needed resources and collect, discuss, verify and integrate the deliverables in the project development process.
Execute schematic entry using Company approved tools and launch standard design control tools; check the resulting Bill of Material.
Manage the release of the FW according to the Company procedures.
Share adopted design criteria and discuss them during Design reviews In the different stages of the development of a New Product (engineering sample, Alpha, Beta, Pilot), execute all the tests listed in the Validation test suite, following the internal procedures and reporting the results Find innovative solutions and submit patent proposals; maintain suitable links with cutting edge technology providers and supplier on the market.
Profile system performance in the Lab, using available test equipment, tools and instruments.
Benchmark finished products against reference competitors Study and execute finished product documentation Provide critical review and guidance to teammate’s analysis and design REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering (MA Degree).
LANGUAGES: Italian, English EXPERIENCES: 8+ years of experience in Digital Hardware Board Design using microcontrollers, microprocessor, SOC, GP Us, memories, A/D and D/A converters, CPL Ds, interface circuits, communication device, Ethernet controller etc.
SPECIFIC KNWOLEDGE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: •A System thinker that can define and guide a platform design. • Hands-on development of embedded systems including Microcontrollers / Microprocessors.
