VRV, part of Chart Industries Inc. , is an important industrial reality present for more than 60 years in the international arena both in the design and production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, and in the engineering and manufacture of insulation tanks for the distribution and storage of gas in the Cryogenic sector, as well as a company operating in the Automotive HNLG business.


What Your Day-to- Day Activities Will Be…



• Sizing and technical definition of the items to quote.


• Identify alternative techniques solutions that may increase the competitiveness of the offer.


• Develop and provide the technical offer in all its contents including the preparation of any supporting technical attachments, if necessary or requested.


• Basic quotation preparation.


• Lead time and freight allocation.


• Draw up the technical offer which will be approved by the Product Management and the Commercial Management.


• Take charge of the technical alignments required during the budgeting phase under the supervision of the Product Manager.


• Take charge of the negotiations requested during the budgeting phase.


• Offer support to quotationists in technically evaluating offers and discussing technical aspects with subcontractors.


Requirements & Preferred Qualifications will be…



• Degree in Mechanical/ Energy Engineering or equivalent background.


• 2/3 years of previous working experience in international companies for similar positions.


• Knowledge of basic quotation preparation.


• Experience collaborating closely with cross functional teams across Business Development, Engineering and Product.


• Demonstrated knowledge, at a proficiency level, of Italian/ English languages, both written and spoken.


• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office.


• Customer-focused and self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.


• Excellent writing skills, a technical and analytical mindset.


• Comfortable communicating with, and gaining consensus from, internal leadership teams.


• Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
