The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing global projects ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maintaining consistency across all project activities.
This role requires strong leadership strategic planning and communication skills to manage resources schedules and stakeholder expectations effectively.
Summary of Key Responsibilities: 1) Define monitor and adjust project activities and schedules to meet project objectives for a cross functional embedded systems team. 2) Provide regular status reports on the progress of the project. 3) Develop and manage the configuration management strategy for the embedded systems project. 4) Identify and record problems and their status within a common repository. 5) Track problems to closure and analyze problem trends. 6) Analyze and assess change requests and track approved change requests to closure. 7) Ensure project is delivered on time and within budget.
Details of Key Responsibilities: Formulate a comprehensive project management strategy outlining project objectives scope of work and the management of the project life cycle.
Define monitor and adjust project estimates activities and resources.
Define monitor and adjust the project schedule outlining key milestones deadlines and dependencies.
Maintain consistency in project execution by ensuring that all activities deliverables and communications adhere to established standards and guidelines.
Ensure that project documentation is accurate uptodate and aligned with organizational policies and procedures.
Provide regular status reports.
Develop and manage the configuration management strategy for the embedded systems project.
Identify and record problems and their status within a common repository.
Track problems to closure and analyze problem trends.
Analyze and assess change requests and track approved change requests to closure.
Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in software engineering Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management preferably in complex multidisciplinary embedded system projects.
Proven experience in developing and executing project management strategies regarding the Automotive SPICE 3. 0 process reference model including scope definition scheduling and resource management.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide mentor and motivate crossfunctional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software such as MS Project PTC or similar.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on delivering projects on time within scope and on budget.
Strong understanding of the software V Cycle and the Automotive SPICE 3. 0 process reference model Preferred Qualifications: PMP ( Project Management Professional) or similar certification.
Experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of agile or other project management methodologies.
Knowledge of systems engineering practices.
Knowledge of software engineering practices.
