Product development engineer




What challenges can you expect?



• The resource will work to maintain the high technical level of the company output, improve company products or new manufacturing/assembly processes.


• Implementation of measures to reduce manufacturing costs and/or improve quality


• Creation of drawings (3D models), definition of requirements and creation of documentation


• Creation of production drawings from 3D models (standard-compliant, correct material designations, tolerance specifications,. . . )


• Independent implementation of changes in SAP


• Design and creation of individual parts (castings, plastic parts, tolerance specification) in consultation with experts and suppliers from concept to detailing


• Maintenance of the information and the dependencies in SAP


• Manage the cost and the time schedule of internal projects (AEP)



What do we expect from you?



• Degree in electrical, mechanical (or other industrial field) engineering, or master craftsman (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.


• Knowledge of different manufacturing processes (machining, injection moulding, stamping, etc)


• Experience in technical offices from companies working in the transformers market is a plus


• Good command of written and spoken English


• Knowledge of a 3D CAD software is required, Solid Edge is preferred


• Previous experience with SAP is a plus
