The selected candidate will investigate posttranscriptional mechanisms controlling B cell differentiation and RNA splicing of key B cell differentiation genes, contributing to groundbreaking research in genomics and molecular biology.
Postdoctoral Researcher – RNA Biology in B Cells Designation Postdoctoral Researcher Research Area RNA Biology B Cell Biology Genomics Location Mandatory Requirements: PhD in genomics, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related disciplines (or PhD to be awarded by January 2025) Fluency in English Preferential Requirements: Experience and interest in B cell biology Broad technical and scientific understanding of genomics and molecular biology Experience and interest in RNA splicing and metabolism Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis for RNA or protein data Knowledge of transcriptomic technologies (both bulk and single-cell) Experience with confocal microscopy Ability to manage projects independently and flexibly Job Description Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Design, perform, and analyze genomic experiments such as scRNA-seq, CLIP-seq, and FLAM-seq.
Develop new hypotheses to investigate gene expression regulation in B cells and antibody production.
Generate, record, and analyze data, protocols, and/or codes for publication.
Publish reproducible research findings.
Support and interact with other group members and collaborators.
Share and discuss research results.
Present scientific results at international meetings.
