Type werknemersovereenkomst: Permanent Regular Title: PMO Specialist Country: Italy Located in: Milan Department: IT Role Purpose: The PMO Specialist is responsible to analyze the business part of the organization and is responsible for the business model and its integration with the existing and/or needed technology.
Provides the guidance to improving the processes, services, flows and technology (systems, software etc. ) having all these documented and properly assessed and analyzed.
Acts as a connection/liaison between business problems, opportunities identified by product/project managers and technology solutions related to business systems, as a liaison between business, technical developers, and testers.
Business Responsibilities: To facilitate process development and improvement through also drafting supporting documents.
To serve as a liaison between business and IT so that business priorities are incorporated, requirements are analyzed, and projects are managed within defined deadlines and standards.
People Management Responsibilities: N/A Administrative and Operational Responsibilities: To assist with the business cases and assess requests’ feasibility.
Eliciting requirements and requirements analysis.
To translate stakeholder needs (business requirements) into clear, comprehensive and concise specifications and maintain them through all phases of SDLC.
Requirements and documentation management; projects prioritization.
To contribute actively to project plans; prioritize, plan and monitor through all life cycle.
To conduct review sessions to gain approval of requirements and manage changes and change requests.
To present/support/propose projects in the Board; communicate design to all stakeholders.
To manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
To drive the design and review of test cases.
To write, to update, to organize and to manage procedures.
To provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; provide help desk support; train users.
To lead cross-functional business process re-engineering teams.
To partner with business units to negotiate and to prioritize work items over the lifetime of IT projects, according to the company’s strategy.
To share with the business an in-depth knowledge in emerging technologies and software delivery; support business to follow new technologies, propose new products and/or developments.
To analyze the functional needs, user experience, translate the requirements into technical specifications (e. g.
API description).
To document the change requests and provide support for the project related assets, according to the IT structure & role definitions.
To document the solutions functional and/or technical, as well as the various integrations across systems as well as external local partner.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL COLLABORATIONS: To ensure effective collaboration and clear communication with all teams involved in project planning, implementation and testing.
To maintain effective relationship with third party suppliers.
To ensure mentoring and supervision to new beginners, when requested.
QA Responsibilities: To adhere to the relevant quality procedures.
Cyber Security & Data Protection Responsibilities: To ensure handling of any company information, documentation and data accessed during the performance of the tasks in line with company policies.
To comply with company policies for maintenance of ISO27001.
To use the main technical equipment respecting company policies.
GDPR Responsibilities: Employees are responsible for respecting the privacy and protection of confidential information and personal data of their colleagues, but also of any other data subject (for example: consumers, customer’s employees, employees of merchants, business partners, shareholders).
Employees must adhere to company policies and processes aimed at ensuring compliance with all laws regarding privacy, data protection.
Reporting to: PMO Manager Experience: 3 years in the role Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Information Technology Technical Competencies: Quick understanding of systems concepts.

Project management (agile PMO, Lean management).
Strong knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
Strong knowledge of PM tools (ex.
Jira, Confluence, Mattermost, Smartsheet).
