Mission
RINA is looking for a Mechanical design engineer to expand our Aerospace team based in MILAN ( Italy)
Job Responsabilities
• Design and develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CATIA V5.
• Create and modify complex assemblies and parts to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize product designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure design integrity and performance
• Generate and manage technical documentation, including design reports and BO Ms ( Bill of Materials)
• Perform tolerance analysis and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues and implement corrective actions
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout the product development cycle
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Qualifications
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, structural analysis, and materials
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software CATIA v5 (mandatory)
• manage the drafting and production of as-built drawings
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous working experience in aerospace or avionic sector
• Appreciated knowledge and experience in FEM tools amd algorithms implementation through Python programming language and/or Matlab
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
