• Utilize tools to monitor system OS and application software versions and the security vulnerability posture of IT systems. Â
• Apply appropriate software and system patches and system configurations to ensure IT systems are kept up-to-date. Â
• Coordinate with IT teams to prioritize, schedule and implement updates without disrupting business operations. Â
• Document patching schedules, compliance reports, and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide ongoing insight to management on the progress of maintaining system and application currency and reduction of system vulnerabilities. Â
• Provide support and guidance on best practices for system security and maintenance.
• Act as a service owner across IT for system updates and vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats and trends in vulnerability management. Â
Education, Skills, and Attributes
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Â
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, patch management and IT security best practices. Â
• Experience with vulnerability scanning software and tools such as Tenable and Bit Sight or equivalent is preferred. Â
• Experience with updating or patching common operating systems, like Linux and WindowsÂ
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Â
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Â
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English Language is required for the job
• The candidate can be based in Italy ( Emila region), Spain ( Madrid area ) or Germany ( Reihn Main area)
• Remote job with travels to do to TOPCON locations when needed
