Hospitality manager for wine hotel in southern Tuscany ( Maremma) We are wine producers with our own hospitality resort, embedded in our biodynamic farm for natural wine, ancient grains and olive oil.
Various guest houses and a boutique hotel are spread over several locations within a radius of 2 km.
Some are located in the agricultural zone, others in a small medieval village called Tatti. www. sequerciani. it www. tattifattoria. com We are looking for a hospitality manager to redesign and manage our existing hospitality business and to recruit the appropriate team for it.
The business includes: - Our boutique hotel in the village of Tatti.
The grand old noble Marcheser Villa with 18 guest rooms and two halls has recently been elegantly renovated and stylishly furnished. - Three residential buildings with their own kitchen (formerly converted stables) right next to the owners'' villa, as well as four small apartments, all nestled in our vineyards. - The existing bistro/restaurant with seating for 70 people.
With its large panoramic terrace, an open cocktail bar and an open, spacious outdoor area, it is also suitable for events (weddings, birthdays and corporate events). - The new cantina with in-house wine tastings and wine cellar tours. - In addition, there is a large separate cafeteria with co-working spaces and studios with artist residencies.
The maximum capacity is 60 beds in total.
Duties of the hospitality manager: - Create, integrate and implement a detailed hospitality concept. - Build the entire hospitality team (housing, F&B, etc. ), consisting of: - Front office, back office (position to be filled) - Housekeeper for preparing breakfast, room control, organising laundry and cleaning of the houses and rooms, decoration and small services for the guest. ( Position to be filled) - Infrastructure control (can possibly also be taken over by the housekeeper) possibly fill position. - Setting up the food and beverage management (fill position) - Planning, executing and settling small and large events - Establishing and continuously improving internal communication within the team, between guests, wine production and artists, as well as external public relations.
You have the following skills: - Completed vocational training in the hotel industry - At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position - Strong leadership and planning skills - Excellent communication skills - Excellent knowledge of budget preparation and cost management - Solid experience in event management - Good sales and marketing knowledge (including social media) - Very good English and Italian (mandatory) and, if possible, also German (written and spoken).
