Your opportunity Operating for Alexander Mc Queen RTW & SA categories and reporting to the RTW & SA Operations Director, you will be managing all the activities related to the bulk production from the Purchasing of Raw Materials (fabrics & trimmings), to the launch of the Production orders till the deliveries of the Finished Products to the distribution warehouses.
You will interface with Merchandising, Sales, Demand Planning, Pattern Making and Product Development teams as well as Industrialization and Quality management, warehouses, Raw Material Suppliers and Finished Goods Vendors in order to ensure the bulk production delivery is in line with the defined internal KP Is. How will you contribute? Oversee the complete bulk production process, from the Raw Material Purchasing to Planning and Production Control for both procurement processes, BUY and MAKE. Create and define the internal seasonal planning calendar to ensure KPI achievement involving all related departments Coordinate the production allocation process considering all relevant factors (capacity, quality, costs & lead-times) and involving all relevant departments Define the Master Production Plan together with the related internal teams Master the vendor portfolio and oversee the development of strong partnerships with external partners for Raw Material and Finished Goods Vendor rating and development Actively take part at the strategic roundtables in terms of definition of the sourcing strategy Lead and develop 3 teams: the Raw Material Purchasing team, the Planning team and the Production Control Team Define and monitor bulk production KP Is and related reporting Actively participate in strategic projects and work on continuous improvement activities Required Skills You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander Mc Queen behaviours Previous experience in similar roles preferably acquired within the Fashion Industry Experience as people manager Degree in Engineering or Economics Strong communication skills Highly organized, able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines High analytical skills Fluent in English and Italian Proficient in MS Office and particularly Excel, desired experience with Stealth, SAP and with Production Management systems Kering is committed to building a diverse workforce.
