Head Electrical Engineering Airswift Vacancy Overview: Head Electrical Engineering - Rome, Italy Key Responsibilities and Main Tasks: Ensure all technical activities associated with the electrical engineering discipline by the FEED contractor, and all third parties such as vendors, consultants, sub-contractors, etc. , are executed to Project's specifications and Client's requirements.
Carry-out technical evaluations, including risk-based evaluation of complex engineering issues.
Responsible for overseeing Electrical Engineering activities during FEED, ensuring compliance with project specifications and highest technical quality standards.
Provide clear guidance to the FEED contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors to resolve electrical technical issues.
Accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with Client's policies and standards.
Lead electrical engineering design and planning activities.
Plan and schedule Electrical Engineering deliverables to enable efficient execution.
Review, evaluate and advise on electrical simulations and optimization.
Review technical aspects of electrical equipment purchase orders.
Monitor and provide guidance to FEED Contractor to ensure key discipline deliverables are met.
Coordinate and analyse discipline issues for resolution.
Support commissioning, start-up, and system completion activities.
Lead Electrical interface coordination with relevant departments and third parties.
Contribute to Safety analysis studies and provide required input for project management decision making.
Participate in sharing and capturing lessons learned for future projects.
Experience Required: 15 years' experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably in a major LNG Project.
Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV).
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent written and oral English skills.
Strong technical and discipline management skills.
Good organisational, planning, and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
