We are currently looking for a FPGA Designer to support one of our projects in Modena.
Responsibilities: Provide support to system engineer for FPGA definition; Collaborate to define the FPGA detailed specification; Define and evaluate IP cores to be procured; Define the FPGA architecture; Design the FPGA in VHDL; Perform code coverage; Design the testbench for the FPGA; Perform simulation; About you: Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics; Good knowledge of: VHDL/ Verilog coding; FPGA devices (in particular Microsemi); FPGA SW tools ( Modelsim, Sinplify, Microsemi Libero); digital design (processors, memories, ADC, etc); digital I/ Fs (SPI, UART, etc); laboratory instrumentation (mainly multimeter and oscilloscope); Microsoft office; Fluent spoken and written English; 2-3 years of experience in FPGA DESIGN; Nice to have: Ability to develop firmware for microcontrollers in C/C++ language.

If successful, a second interview will be conducted to validate your technical knowledge.
In case of a positive outcome from the technical interview, there will be a last qualification meeting with the Client.
