As the Finance Director of a company living an exciting growth phase, you will be the right-hand of the Managing Director of the business, providing support to key decision-making and actively contributing to the achievement of the company’s strategic goals.
Areas of focus include planning, implementation, and managing all the finance activities including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
Working within a small and dynamic team, you will take a hands-on approach to develop and implement financial processes, systems, and tools.

Key Accountabilities Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies and forecasting and scenario planning Partner with senior management to align financial goals with the Companies Strategic objectives Reporting and Analysis: Oversee financial statements, reports.
Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to the EXCO and Group CFO to support decision-making Analyze production costs, operational expenses, and other financial metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with operations to optimize inventory management and procurement processes.
Cashflow and Treasury: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions and oversee treasury functions Ensure appropriate cashflow management of the business, including forecasts and scenario planning Risk Management: Identify, assess and manage strategic financial risks faced by the organization Ensure compliance requirements and adherence to internal and external control policies across financial reporting activities Partner with key service providers to maintain accounting and reporting against organizational requirements and implement key tools and systems to ensure effective tracking and reporting.
Strategic Financial Decision- Making: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and capital allocation strategies Assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and advise on their feasibility and profitability Key Stakeholder management: Manage relationships with external financial partners such as auditors, financial institutions and others as required Communicate the businesses financial performance, strategy, and prospects to key stakeholders Leadership: As a key member of the Executive Team, the Finance Director will contribute to the business leadership and growth, and provide guidance to the finance department and other related teams Ensure the development and retention of a high-performing finance team and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence Experience & skills Degree in a relevant business field required 10 years’ experiences in manufacturing/industrial company Experience in reporting to and interacting with senior stakeholders: C-suite, banks, etc.
Strong business controlling skills and experience Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable results Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
Good technical accounting knowledge in local accounting standards and familiarity with IFRS Ability to work independently and take initiative in a resource-constrained, entrepreneurial setting.
